Drill bushes A179 - DIN 179
The A179 drill bushes are used to guide drill bits or shaft in mechanisms requiring precise alignment. They can therefore be used to drill with high precision and repeatability.
Specifications
Material : 16CrNi4 - Case-hardened
Standard : DIN 179
Dimensions :
- Press-fit diameter : from 3 to 78mm
- Internal guide diamete : from 0.9 to 63mm
- Length : from 8 to 78mm
Hardness : 60 - 62 Hrc
Treatment : Case hardening and tempering for optimum surface hardness.

Recommendation for use :
Mounting : The drill bushes are fitted directly in the guide plate at a distance of approximately 0.5 x of the drill of the workpiece. The bore for the drill bush is H7.
