Sliding elements

The bronze guide bushes with graphite inserts have a good wear and friction resistance, making them perfect for use in die sets or moulds. Thanks to the combination of bronze and graphite as a solid lubricant, the bushes are maintenance-free apart from simple lubrication during assembly.

Our catalogue range is available to ISO, DIN and AFNOR standards.

Wear plates (or sliding elements) are used in press tools, moulds or any other mechanical assembly subject to high abrasion (and surface pressure) due to constant movement between two surface surfaces/plates. Located at strategic places, the wear plates reduce wear and friction on moving components, ensuring that tools operate smoothly and guaranteeing their durability and performance.

Our sliding elements are available in a wide selection of shapes (sliding pad, plain wear plates, T-bar etc...) to suit all requirements. In addition, some plates are chamfered or drilled to accommodate fixing screws.

We also offer sintered steel wear plates to complete our bronze graphite range of plate which fulfill the same function.

Our range of standard catalogue friction plates is available to DIN ISO and VDI standards.

Please note that the bronze graphite elements have a predefined sliding direction. This is linked to the arrangement of the graphite inserts. The sliding direction is indicated on each product drawing (which can be consulted in our catalogue or directly via the product page on our website).

If the sliding direction isn't respected, the bush or the wear plate will no longer be usable after few strokes / passes. It is therefore crucial to take this information into account.
