Elastomer springs S55 - 90 Shore A - DIN 9835 / ISO 10069

The S55 elastomer springs are use in press tools to hold the sheet during the lowering phase.

Material : 90 Shore A - Urelast

Standard : NF ISO 10069 / DIN 9835

Dimensions :

  • Diameter : from 16 to 125mm
  • Length : from 12 to 160mm

Load : From 160 to 15000 daN depending on the diameter and the length

Resistance : Elastomer springs do not break. Very resistant to abrasion

Preload : The preload must be greater than the compression settlement (6-8%)

Maximum compression : 30% of the total length

Modulus of elasticity : 35 N/mm^2 at room temperature

Operating temperature : -20°C to +80°C

Recommendation for use :

Mounting : The spring is individually fitted between the stripper plate and the top plate thanks to shoulder screw or guiding shafts and washers. The elastomer spring expands when compressed, so a sufficiently large housing is required.

Use conditions :The preload is mandatory and ensures immediate force.

Storage : Store out of direct sunlight and in an environment where humidity does not exceed 65%.
