Self-lubricating steel sliding pad with sinterlayer PLP12 are used to reduce wear on surfaces subject to high abrasion due to constant movement between two surfaces/parts. They are often used in mold and press tooling to increase tool life by reducing wear on moving components.

Recommendation for use :

  • Mounting : Wear plates are fastened directly in the tool using screws. They should be lubricated only once after assembly and after each cleaning operation.
  • Respecting working speeds : Respecting working speeds ensures the integrity of the tool and the guide bar. Be careful, an additional lubrication is recommended when operating at speeds higher than 1m/s.
